Festool DOMINO

The ‘DOMINO’ is a unique jointing system using rounded loose tenons to join timber giving very strong accurate and precise joints. Combining exceptional versatility with simple handling for maximum precision, the

DOMINO has a patented routing principle with a wide range of adjustment options that make it extremely easy to use. Fully adjustable fences allow you to cut with perfect alignment, single or multiple holes which can

be either central or offset holes with perfect alignment. The ﬁ rst DOMINO cut is exact, while subsequent holes have a small amount of play to allow for the joint to be aligned effortlessly. The result is a stable joint, secure

from the ﬁ rst dowel. The DOMINO has expanding glue pockets and lateral/longitudinal grooves to give the dowel a secure grip. There are two models available: the DF500; and bigger brother the DF700.

The DF500 is suitable for a host of jointing tasks in solid timber and manmade boards, use to make

frames and panels, providing a strong joint overcoming many difﬁ cult jointing problems. Cabinet

making, shop ﬁ tting and the home workshop will all beneﬁ t. Cut a DOMINO dowel up to 10mm x 50mm

in length mm (25mm pocket) 5 pre set timber thicknesses and manually adjusted for other thicknesses,

5 pre set angles and is also inﬁ nitely variable between 0 and 90°. There are retractable stops for accurate

positioning from the edge of the workpiece. There are 6 different sizes of DOMINO available.

Available as either Plus or Set versions both supplied with DOMINO and SYS 3 T-LOC Systainer

The bigger brother to the DF 500, the DF 700 will cut larger DOMINO holes, with the same precision.

It is perfect for making strong joints in furniture, door construction and many other solid wood

projects. It will cut a DOMINO 14mm x 140mm in length (70mm pocket) with quick adjustment

for different material thickness, taking cutter sizes 8, 10, 12 and 14mm. It has a variable depth stop

(15-70mm) and a tilting fence (0-90°) DOMINO dowels are available in solid beech or Sipo dowels for

exterior use that are mould and insect resistant.

Supplied as a set version complete with: D12 cutter, support bracket and Systainer T-LOC case
