Invisible Connector

Dowelling Jigs

Use to make your own drilling jig, great for accurate drill

positioning especially dowelling. This two part threaded drill guide

can be ﬁ xed into a piece of MDF by boring a 20mm hole in the jig

and screwing the guide bush in place. Drill a 12mm dowel hole,

unscrew and reposition on the opposite side to drill the mirror hole

for accurate dowelling. The jig is used as a positioning guide, more

than one guide bush can be used. Suitable for duplicate holes, the

simple design of this guide makes it ideal for many tasks including

aligning dowels when jointing worktops. Sold individually. Suitable

for the Lamello Invis invisible clamping system.

A very clever jig that allows you to accurately position holes and

mirror on an opposite member if required for dowelling. Simple

to use, the secret is in the precision with which the jig has been

made ensuring accurate hole position every time.

Pins and a network of holes in the jig are used as reference stops

against your work so no matter what the shape the hole position

can be repeated. Simply choose the correct drill bush and screw

this into the jig so that it will guide your drill bit. Once drilled,

remove pins and bushes, relocate in the same holes, protruding

from opposite side of the plate, this then guides the plate and

drill in place for an exact mirror hole position.

Available in two formats:

Basic Kit contains; 1 Drill plate, 3 guide pins, 4 drill guides 5, 8, 10

and 12mm and ﬁ xing screw.

Duo Kit contains; 2 Drill plates, 6 guide pins, 3 drill bits 5, 8 and

12mm diameter with stop collars, 8 guide bushes 2 each 5, 8, 10

and 12mm a connecting rod and length stop, spacing sleeve and

2 ﬁ xing screws all packed in a Systainer case for storage.

Worktop jointing, the connector ‘bites’ as it is driven into the Joint

Invis the totally invisible joint that requires no glue or screws,

is very strong and can be dis-assembled at any time.

Invis is a very clever 2 part connector that will totally revolutionise

the way you work and will overcome many jointing problems. No

need to clamp, no visible signs on your work and you can take

apart whenever you need with the special MiniMag drive box.

Working like a dowel, it is in 2 parts with a central male and

female thread and a coarse outer thread which is screwed into a

pre-bored hole. Bring the two components together and using

the special ‘MiniMag’ box in a power drill, lay this horizontal to

the joint and forward spin to tighten the connector together

resulting in a solid joint. To disassemble reverse the drill and undo

– simple, quick and easy. Both the stud and joiner stay ﬂ ush with

the joint edge so no damage can occur in transport.

The Lamello Rasto drill jig is designed to be used when drilling

Invis connectors. This simple and easy to use jig requires no

marking or measuring for precision jointing every time, working

like magic.

attaches to any power drill running speed 1200–1500rpm with

accessories and ﬁ ttings.

The MiniMag Mx houses the rotating magnet that drives the

jointing connectors of the Lamello Invis system, it attaches to any

standard drill and running at between 120 - 1500rpm. Supplied

with a special screwdriver bit to screw the Invis connectors into

the drilled holes. Spare driver bits also available.

Invis MX Connector Set

A stud and jointing element,

both 12mm in diameter with a

coarse outer thread that will ‘bite’ into the

drilled 12mm hole. The internal threaded stud is 14mm

in length and the threaded jointing element is 30mm.

Invis Jointing Element

The jointing element is the male part

of the Invis connector.

Invis MX Stud

Long 30mm connector with stud for a stronger

hold in materials like particle boards.

Invis MX Centre Wall Stud

Longer version of the standard 14mm studded part of the

Invis connector which allows the jointing

of two items such as shelves through a

maximum 30mm upright. 30mm of the

stud length is not threaded and left plain.

Invis Pinlock

This is a pin lock device, instead

of using the 2 part Invis connector

this has a retractable pin that is driven by the

MiniMag MX. Suitable for ﬁ tting wall and ceiling panels,

access holes, plinths and inﬁ lls. Hole for ﬁ tting 8 x 41mm, hole

for pin 5 x 12mm.
